➙How to appreciate it
Ideally this tea should be infused for 2 to 3 minutes. We have prepared a delicate blend, softer and milder than the usual Moroccan mint green tea. However, if you wish a stronger and more pronounced taste, extend the brewing time and slightly increase the amount of tea per cup.

Historical facts and benefits of mint green tea
➙Ancient tradition treasured by various nations and cultures
Infusing mint leaves and other herbs was already a widespread tradition in Northern Africa long before the arrival of tea. It is not exactly known whether tea was subsequently imported by the Phoenicians or by the Berbers. Much later, during the Crimean War, Biritish merchants, having lost their Russian market, turned into developing the one of North Africa in order to sell their Gunpowder tea from China. Moorish traders then sold on the so called "British" tea into Mali, Mauritania and other countries in the region.
➙An exceptional blend
Mint
Mint belongs to the large Lamiaceae family, of which there are many species. Its name comes from Greek mythology (minth). In antiquity, it was used to embalm temples and houses. The Romans used to place a few leaves into their wine. It was not until the Middle Ages that we began to appreciate it for its taste and therapeutic virtues. Antispasmodic, digestive, antioxidant and invigorating, the mint infusion perfectly complements the two types of green tea used for our composition “La Minthology Verte”.
Moringa
Moringa oleifera, belonging to the Moringaceae family, is native to the plains of the Himalayas in India. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and amino acids, Moringa is now classified “superfood” and is the Ideal ingredient for detox diets. Its slightly peppery taste matches perfectly with mint.
Red pepper
Piper nigrum, belonging to the botanical family of Piperaceae, red pepper unlike its white, green and black cousins, is harvested at full maturity after nine months. Dried in the shade it keeps its pretty red color. With its digestive and anti-inflammatory action, it accompanies Mint, Moringa and the Green Teas in perfect symbiosis.
